Hardware specs?

  • I'm currently evaluating forum software to roll out to my company's existing web sites. Our websites are very busy (almost 2 million unique users per month and over 3 million page views per day) so we envisage that the forums will also be very busy.

    What sort of hardware specs vs. visitor numbers are people using?

    At the very least we plan to use seprate web and MySQL servers but I also want to build in some resilience (preferably by using multiple web and SQL boxes and NFS shares), is anyone currently doing this?
