Do dogs like it when...?

I wouldn't put earphones with music on a dog it could hurt their ears.
What do you mean does talking to your dog confuse them?
I talk to my dogs all the time No it doesn't confuse them. I even talk to them on the phone if I'm not home(sick at the hospital)-They know its me cause they lick the phone and tilt their head.
And I have no idea what you mean by the Cesar Millan thing.
I have a cat who loves soft jazz. The more horn and piano the better.
I have a lab/coonhound who loves country music. He seems to settle into new situations better or rides in the car more content with country on.
I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback who likes classical, and it is what was played to him as a puppy in the background to sooth the litter to sleep when they were 4-8 weeks.
It may be the type of music and headphones may not be a good choice. I am glad you are not putting them on her...that would be cruel since her hearing is so much more accute than ours.
As for Mr Millan... i don't care for him much. I watched him a couple of times, and then in an interview he completely unimpressed me, and I never looked at him again. I guess i give him no touch, no talk and no eyecontact... cause i ignore him. I have seen too many misbehaving dogs with owners using his 'methods'.
I would assume he is talking about fully ignoring a dog, which is good in some cases. He has some good things, but mostly i am unimpressed.
here is a quote from an article on Ian Dunbar and Ceaser Millan:
Writer Mark Derr, in a recent New York Times editorial, went as far as to call Millan a "charming, one-man wrecking ball directed at 40 years of progress in understanding and shaping dog behavior."
