SHOULD I HAVE SLAPPED MY WIFE?

  • So my wife and I have been married for about two years. Everything have been going well so far. Today she was cleaning in the living room while i went to the refrigerator to get a soda pop. When i got there, I asked her if we have anymore Vanilla flavored Coke. And so she told me there was one more left. So i looked again and didn't find one.. So she came over, dug through and found one in one of the drawers... and said "And what is thiss??" so i told her if she hadn't kept the frige so overloaded, then I would've found it! So she said "You're just ******** stupid!" (while she was walking off).
    I was FLABBERGASTED!! I could NOT believe she said that! She have NEVER cursed or disrespected me before! I wanted to slap her so badly! But i was in shock!! Its been four hours and until this time she haven't said anything about it or apologize!!! I feel so sorry for not slapping her right then and there!!
    What do you guys suggest!?

    Edit: However, she did disrespect you greatly after you disrespected her. but hers was worse. i would probably ignore her and cut off sex for a little while because she messed up pretty bad. and next time don't be critical about her and the vanilla coke.


  • She was probably pissed off because YOUR WORDS :- she was cleaning the living room & she keeps the fridge overloaded. What about YOU! Why didn't you ask if she needed help in cleaning or when YOU were getting a soda pop why didn't YOU offer her one or why didn't YOU offer to clean out the fridge.

    If YOU put in effort YOU will probably notice she will melt like butter in YOUR hands.

    Don't hit her. This action is sooo trailer trash! Plus illegal.

  • Well, you know here in Australia when you cannot find something, we have a saying "Go and have a woman's look"... which of course means have a thorough sticky beak through everything.

    It isn't your fault that these characteristics are not innate in our gender. Don't blame yourself.
