    He had far-fetched ideas about the world being round, instead of flat as it was once thought to be. And when someone finally gave him the opportunity to prove his theory.Columbus was an adventurer and was enthused by the thrill of the quest of the unknown. He sailed west across the Atlantic Ocean in search for the all-water route to Asia, but instead achieved fame for making landfall in the Caribbean Sea.

  • he achieved to make mistake by baptising the first settlers in america but it was not yet america those days, indians thinking he was in india or asia because he supposed to go to asia, wrong navigation and wrong connaissance( knowledge) about people of continents. in fact from his mistake that indian americans got named as they are thanks to columbos, but because the first settlers in the US come from asia that's why he thought he found india. then america became america by name through an italian whose name was amerigo, which over the years through different pronounciation and mixed languages got adapted the name america as a whole
